As many people know Studio 35 Cinema and Drafthouse host beer tastings paired with a classic movie on regular basis. Some tastings are better than others, but this coming Sunday looks like a good one. The spotlight brewery will be Jackie O’s, one of the most creative breweries in Ohio. The Jackie O’s owner will be in attendance to give the back story behind the beers, they will be serving some beer brewed specially for the event, and as always they will be raffling of swag and other goodies.
The beer lineup for the tasting is as follows:
Ja Bitte – Kölsch Ale
Oil of Aphrodite – Imperial Stout
Dirty Water – Imperial IPA
Paw Paw Wheat – Fruit beer
Paw Paw Hefeweizen – Fruit Beer
Lizard Queen – Pale Ale
Mystic Mama – IPA
Firefly – Amber
Hop Ryot – RyePA
Barking Pumpkin – Pumpkin Ale
PLUS there will be a special tapping of Bourbon Barrel Aged Brick Kiln Barley Wine!
The tasting runs from 2-4 pm followed by a screening of the classic 1980s movie Weird Science. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online and at the box office.
