In this episode three repeat guests – Dan Eaton, Madeleine Bogard, and Chris Mercehill – compete in a game show based on bizarre beers. The show alternates between rounds of Wait Wait… Don’t Beer Me! and ReinheitsgeWHAT? In the former we share the origin stories of three beers featuring highly unusual ingredients, even by modern standards, and they must identify which of the three stories is fabricated. In the latter, Mark serves up some beers and the contestants try to pick out the unusual ingredients that would never fly according to the centuries old German beer purity law. Play along and see if you can spot the fake beers as our contestants go for the win!
